Eight-year-old Ella wants to be back in her old house with her best friend next door, until she discovers a secret pond in her new neighbour’s backyard with an orchestra of frogs! She befriends Mai and learns about the class frog bog project, but when a development threatens the pond, she and Mai must come up with a plan to save the frogs before it’s too late. 📘 THE COMMUNITY
@christinelou73 @ultimopress
After a public fall from grace, an investigative journalist seeks the quiet life in an idyllic retreat community. But when a body is found floating in a nearby waterhole and his best friend’s daughter is reported missing, he’s compelled to investigate, putting him right back in the crosshairs of the police. Fast-paced and thrilling, The Community is about fatherhood, family ties and redemption.

📔 THE BORROWED LIFE OF FREDERICK FIFE
@annajohnstonauthor @penguinbooksaus
Frederick Fife was born with kindness in his heart. If he borrowed your car he’d return it washed, with a full tank of petrol. The problem is, he has no one left to borrow from and at 82 he’s lonely, broke and on the brink of homelessness.  But Fred’s luck changes when, in a bizarre case of mistaken identity, he takes the place of cranky Bernard Greer at the local nursing home. Bittersweet and perceptive, a heartwarming and hilarious debut about forgiveness, redemption and finding family.

📕 TWO DAUGHTERS
@alisonedwardsauthor @allenandunwin
From the picturesque South Coast of NSW to the cloisters of Cambridge, two young women’s lives become entwined in ways neither could have expected. This clever novel explores social justice, class, identity and motherhood with equal parts wit and empathy.
