We invite Brisbane Teacher Librarians & Educators to join us on Thursday March13 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm for an evening of books, networking, and refreshments.

At our Read Between The Wines Networking Event you can connect with other Teacher Librarians & Educators, engage with authors, and discover new books for your school library.

To make the evening even more enjoyable, there will be wine, nibbles, tea, and coffee available for you to indulge in as you mingle and network. It's the perfect setting to relax, socialize, and share your passion for books and education with fellow Teacher Librarians and Educators.

Join Author, Kirsten Ealand for a special Story Time & Craft on Saturday 22 March, 10:00am. She will read her new picture book, The Big Backyard Plan.

Author visits are always special events because we get to hear about how an author creates and puts ideas to paper.

Kirsten will be available afterwards to sign her book.

Imagine sharing a backyard with your best friends!

Join Kirsten Ealand as she reads her new book ‘The Big Backyard Plan’ about four neighbourhood friends and one BIG idea.

Afterwards we will design our dream backyards using pencils and collage. What will you have in your dream backyard and who will you share it with? Suitable for ages 4-8 and the ticket price includes a copy of ‘The Big Backyard Plan’ and all craft materials. Please note that families will need to purchase at least one standard ticket to be eligible for the free ‘additional children’ tickets.
